Tresa Almy-Albert, M.D.
Dr. Almy-Albert graduated from
St. Lawrence University with a B.S. in psychology. She completed her M.S. in exercise physiology at McGill University in Montreal. She graduated from the University of Rochester Medical School and completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong. Her interests include obesity and exercise physiology. She is board certified in pediatric medicine.
Olutoyin Malomo, M.D.
Dr. Malomo is a graduate of the University College Hospital, University of Ibadan, Nigeria where she received her medical degree, M.B.B.S. She is board certified with the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health in the United Kingdom. She completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. She is board certified in pediatric medicine.
Benny Vitullo, M.D.
Dr. Vitullo is a graduate of McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Montreal, Canada. He completed a residency at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, the Jewish General and the Royal Victoria Hospitals. Dr. Vitullo completed a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and neonatology at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. He is board certified in pediatric medicine. He is also a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong.
Adam Schulenberg, PNP
Adam is a St. Bonaventure and University of Rochester graduate with degrees in nursing and biochemistry. He has more than a decade of experience in the pediatric ICU and currently works full time in the Pediatric Emergency Department at the University of Rochester. He also teaches part time at St. John Fisher College. His interests include emergency and urgent care of acutely ill or injured children.
James Mulholland, D.N.P.
Dr. Mulholland received a B.S. in both Psychology from Michigan State University, and in Nursing from the University of Arizona. He completed his master’s as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and his doctorate (DNP) from the University of Arizona. He is a published author, and is an adjunct faculty member in the Master’s of Nursing Program at Capella University. His interests include pediatric and infant mental health with an emphasis on trauma-informed care. Additional interests include pediatric urgent care, injury reduction, and injury prevention. He is board certified in pediatric primary care.
Karla Suter, M.D.
Dr. Suter received her B.S. degree from Boston College. She is a graduate of University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She completed her residency and chief residency at Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong. She is board certified in pediatric medicine.
Crystal Klumpp, PNP
Crystal received a B.S. in Nursing from Binghamton University. She completed her master’s as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Rochester. Crystal is also the Lead Advance Practice Provider in the Pediatric Emergency Room at Rochester General Hospital. She is a guest lecturer for the University of Rochester Nurse Practitioner Program for Fall and Spring Semesters. Her interests include Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Gastroenterology Health. She is board certified as a pediatric primary care provider.
Kathleen Wania, M.D.
Dr. Kathleen Wania received her B.S. and medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong. Dr. Wania has special interests in early childhood development and healthy lifestyle habits. She is board certified in pediatric medicine.
Nicholas Wodo, PNP
Nick is a Canisius and University of Rochester graduate with degrees in nursing and biochemistry. He completed his Master’s Degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at U of R where he is working on completion of his Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). His interests include pediatric endocrinology. He is board certified as a pediatric primary care provider.
Kevin O’Gara, M.D.
Dr. O’Gara received his B.S degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Golisano Children’s Hospital and fellowship training in pediatric emergency medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. O’Gara currently splits his time between the Pediatric Emergency Departments at Rochester General Hospital and Strong Memorial Hospital. His interests include emergency and urgent care of acutely ill or injured children. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine.
Melissa Beisheim, M.D.
Dr. Beisheim received her B.S. degree from St. Lawrence University. She graduated from SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse with her degree in medicine. Dr. Beisheim completed a pediatric residency program at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is board certified in pediatric medicine.
Laurie Shin, M.D.
Dr. Shin received her B.S. degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Dr. Shin completed her pediatric residency at Strong Memorial Hospital, University of Rochester Medical Center. She is board certified in pediatric medicine.
Erin Baylor, DNP, RN, PNP-BC, ONP
Dr. Baylor earned her BS degree in Nursing from the University of Rochester, followed by her Master’s degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Post-Master’s as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) for Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Baylor is the director of the PNP program at the University of Rochester. Her clinical interests include pediatric behavioral/mental health and pediatric emergency medicine. She is board certified in pediatric primary care.

Our practice uses a triage system for calls when our office is closed. Nurses, with specialized training in providing pediatric medical advice, answer calls to our office phone line, (585) 225-2525. One of our pediatricians is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week as backup for the triage nurse and will return calls when appropriate.

If your child has not had his/her annual physical, please call to make an appointment before the end of the year.
All patients will receive a completed Health Appraisal form at the annual physical. Additional requests, as well as camp and sport forms, will be subject to a $5 processing fee.
